The goal of the farm is to produce food for the community in an ecologically sound and sustainable manner. The balance of grains, vegetables and livestock at Manning Family Farm helps to achieve this goal.  The greenhouse crops, which were traditionally tomatoes and cucumbers, have now evolved to include a variety of early season greens such as lettuce, spinach, beet greens and others.

The gardens provide a healthy array of in-season vegetables such as sweet corn, squash, carrots, potatoes and onions. We also grow a traditional selection of annual vegetable transplants.
